TV show presenting the back-up of showbusiness. Unique opportunity to have direct insight into the process of music project development. We will introduce people, standing behind every music celebrity. People, thanks to whom we can listen our favourite songs everywhere – at home, in the car, in radio, TV or on the dancefloor. Basic characteristics: Combination of reality show and evening show programmes series divided into three phases: I. phase - preparatory (education), II. phase - creative, III. phase - competition. During the first two phases, all competitors are closed in jointly – used space without contact with outer world. In third phase the competing evenings are held in front of auditoriom, leading to selection of winner. Place of realisation: I. and II. phase – closed multifunction centre containing of 5 parts (residential, relaxing, education, recording studio and fitness studio) III. phase – own podium scene in large capacity area (sport or trade fair stadium/hall) Competition categories: Team categories – best production teams Individual – composer, lyrics writer, performer, choreographer, remixer Number of competition teams: 5 Number of competitors in one team: 5 (one per each category) Total number of competitors: 25 Duration: 15 weeks (I. phase – 4 weeks, II. phase – 5 weeks, III. phase – 6 weeks) Evaluation / selection methodology: expert jury + public voting Project introduction: Hitmakers is a competition of 5 production teams competing for the best music project. Each team has 5 members and fixed structure – 1 composer, 1 lyrics writer, 1 performer, 1 choreographer and 1 remixer. The team task is to create and realize the complex music project which will represent the team and with which the team will enter the competition phase. Music project means studio recording of 4 songs including music, lyrics, singing, dance choreography and remix. For this purpose, all competitors will have the possibility to use the internal lecturers, professionals and top technical equipment. As well, except of teams all individual competitors are competing with each other in individual categories - best music, lyrics, performance, choreography and remix. The competition has following screenplay: I. phase In the first phase, competitors are not yet divided into teams. The phase has education character – during 4 weeks competitors are getting in touch with technical equipment of the centre and under expert supervision are taking part on the workshops in their respective categories as mentioned above. II. phase Competitors are divided into teams and their task is to produce and realize the music project in the given time of 5 weeks. During this time they can use consultation services of professionals present in the centre. Thanks to the unique internet portal developed by company Multimage, public can be included into creative process even before the definitive version of project. Competitors have by this the possibility to know the opinion of future listeners. As well, they can use the expert knowledge of international supervisors, well renowned producers and arangers. III. phase Is divided into 6 final evenings. During first 4 parts – Countdowns, all teams will introduce and perform their projects in front of public. In each Countdown, 5 songs will be presented in complex way, one song per each team, including music, lyrics, performance and choreography. After Countdown evening show, a Remix Party will follow, where remixes to competing songs from the Countdown show will be performed in club atmosphere. A week following the last Countdown evening show, the Personal Countdown evening show will be held, where all competitors will introduce their performance according to the/their individual categories. The winners of each category – best composer, best lyrics writer, best performer, best choreographer and best remixer – will be selected. The festive end of the Hitmakers show is the Final Countdown evening, where all teams will perform their best song from Countdown evenings. Following, the public voting will be closed, based on which one team will win the Hitmakers Award. After each Countdown the public will have one week for voting for their favourite team. Results of the voting will be introduced at the beginning of the next Countdown (after 4th Countdown, results will be presented at the beginning of Personal Countdown) Votes from individual rounds will be counted to Final Countdown – team getting the highest scores during the whole competition will become the winner. The winners of the Personal Countdown will be selected by the expert public. |
