Description
Project phases:
1. phase: „A.J. VANDAL“ /music industry/ - to use the history of Slovak region, connected with one of the most famous old-age ethnic stream – Vandals. Animated character of A.J.Vandal can become well-known through international music stations. M&M Brothers is willing to use this character as trade mark. Media space available through different music channels /TV, radio stations, printed media/ is intended to be used as promotion space for follow-up phases – a series, amusement park, musical, movie, book or PC game. The principal goal of the first phase is to make A. J. Vandal known worldwide, to create a soundtrack to second phase. As well, make profit on investment made to A. J. Vandal Project, use the character created for promotion purposes or for needs of company partners. Consequently it will be the first successfull musical project from Slovakia (CEEC) abroad. /preparation phase - ½ to ¾ of year, life cycle of the project – 1 year to 1,5 year/ 2. phase: „The Story of A.J Vandal“ – the series /movie industry/ - follows the first phase and widens its borders. The goal is to create and sell the animated fairy tale series /similarly as Smurfs and Asterix/ everywhere where the first phase was successfull. The visuals and architecture of buildings and exteriors shall be created in line with elements used in third phase – Vandalland. The series shall by created by the same team as in the first phase. Investment can be secured by M&M Brothers as well as external co-investor. The result of the second phase shall be the increasing of public awareness on A. J. Vandal and gaining of media space for following 2-5 years. This space shall be used as well for promotion of following phases – Vandalland, musical, book, movie and PC game. Consequently it will be a historical milestone for Slovak movie industry, due to potential for international commercial success. /preparation phase – 1 to 2 years, project lifecycle – 2 to ? years/ 3. phases: „Vandalland“ /amusement industry and tourism/ - shall be the peak of previous two phases. Makes possible to use the media benefits of previous phases and multi-annual international promotion and advertisement they have created. It will be the transformation of everything people have seen in the series by now into reality. Real A.J.Vandal with real winged bull walking through real streets, drinking real drinks with real kids, doing real things and talking real language. Placement of amusement park is possible into any Slovak region, using existing infrastructure. Connection with well-known Slovak spas (Piešťany), tourists resorts (Tatry), shopping moles (Auparks) or historical heritage (Devin, Bojnice, Spiš Castle) would be benefitial, multiplying the possible profitability. The investment and realisation shall be made by foreign investor with experience in this area. M&M Brothers could be the co-investor through direct financial input or through selling of A.J. Vandall license. The main aim is to develop the world-wide known attraction, which would increase the visibility of Slovakia and attract tourists into the country which is waiting for its discovery. As well, a space for business activities of M&M Brothers partners is opening here, who could attract their foreign partners, and increase their credit by connection of their company name with Vandalland. In consequence, M&M Brothers´ partners could be holders of exclusive rights to partial fields of Vandalland – i.e. telecom company asM&M Brothers partner could be the supplier of complete technology for Vandalland, drinks production company could be the exclusive supplier of drinks for Vandalland etc. The Vandal character will be available for partners for their promotion purposes in Slovakia and abroad. Furthermore, possibility to create following Vandallands wherever in the world shall be mentioned here. /preparatory phase – 5 to 7 years, lifecycle – 5 to ? years/ 4. phase: „A. J. Vandal vs Roma“ /movie industry/ - to develop the theater movie, coming from animated fairy tale series. In case there will be an investor interrested to take up the initiative, author´s rights will be given automatically. Alternatively, M&M Brothers is ready to act as co-investor of the project. If theater movie format will be made, it will be necessary to realize its shooting before building of Vandalland followed by re-using of scenes for the amusement park. The movie will be distributed through cinema distribution channels as well as through commercial TVs. This achievement would be the milestone of he Slovak cinematography. 5. phase: „The Story of Vandals“ /book industry/ - based on the movie/TV series scripts and screenplays the book/book series could be written or vice versa. As could be seen, kids as well as adults are still willing to read fairy tale books (i.e. Harry Potter) 6. phase: „VANDALS“ /music industry/ - further more, one of the possibilities how to use the „Vandalmania“ is musical realisation. The musical can be played in some of the Slovak theaters or directly in Vandalland theater scene as regular part of amusement park programme. The musical soundtrack is, naturally, an interesting trade product. Again, the author´s rights of Vandal can be well monetized. Of course the musical can be offered internationally. 7. phase: „A.J. – The King of the Vandals“ /entertainment industry/ - PC game as the final step of the A.J.Vandal concept, filling the last field of commercial utilisation. 8. Merchandising – troughout all up-mentioned phases the merchandising will part of the package. About 1. phase: Genre: eurodance with elements of slovak native music Target group: discotheque auditorium, aged 12 to 30 Cast up: animated performer Representants: A.J. Vandal joined by Phoenix - winged bull Characteristics: Actual eurodance based on traditional slovak native/ethno instruments – drumbľa and fujara – producing unique sound, currently „hot“ especially in european labels. The power of sound part of the project is multiplied by extraordinary animated video, with main actor – character representing Slavic ethnical stream, joined with winged bull, the Slavic symbol. The Slovak history and traditions will be presented by this in attractive and understandable way, especially to young generation. Marketing strategy: To present the Venetian-Vandal history through wander of main characters. To reach, that created animated characters will become well-known internationally as symbol not only of Slavic ethnic, but as well of Slovakia, and therefore place their origin to Slovakia (i.e. Devín castle). To create by this an attraction, which will present Slovakia abroad. Through video and music to present the traditional Slovak folk instruments and traditions. The modern elements will be used in video as well as funny dialogues of the main characters. Perspective: To reach the maximum level of media promotion of the project and pave the way for follow-up activities. To develop the animated series and sell it abroad (Smurfs,, Asterix etc). To develop a theater movie (Asterix and Obelix, Walt Disney). To set-up the amusement park (i.e. Disneyland) in the place of fictive birth of A.J.Vandal To compose the music for series, movie and soundtracks. To develop and secure the merchandising. Since the certain phase, realisation of this project could lead to increase of tourism in and image of Slovakia.
